“Ukraine: A War Crime” presents the work of 49 international photojournalists, united to present their testimonies to the world about the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the war crimes committed on Ukrainian soil.
The exhibit is inspired by FotoEvidence’s historical books: “Ukraine: A War Crime”, “Ukraine: Love+War”, and “War Chronicles” — published in collaboration with UAPP — and presents undeniable visual evidence of the impact of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine during the last decade. These books were produced to serve as a powerful tool for mobilization, to inform and galvanize public opinion, stir international response and as a historical document for future generations. They have become source for over 20 exhibits around the world.
Svetlana Bachevanova, director of the FotoEvidence curated the exhibit. The books were developed with the support of the Open Society Foundations.
